Theory of Mind European tour 2025

Theory of Mind European tour 2025

As the Theory of Mind European Tour approaches, I’ve been reflecting on the path that brought me here — and on the amazing musicians joining me for this current chapter.

I’m lucky to have shared the stage and studio with two incredible players: Bruno Valverde on drums and Felipe Andreoli on bass. Bruno brings explosive precision and energy to every groove and Felipe — my longtime bandmate from Angra — is one of the most complete musicians I know: a bassist, composer, teacher and producer with a deep sense of melody and rhythm. Together we’ve built a chemistry that makes this trio feel alive every night.

It’s hard to believe it’s been more than 30 years since I started my journey with Angra. That band shaped so much of who I am — blending metal, melody and Brazilian rhythm in ways that still echo in my music today. Those early years taught me to push boundaries, stay curious and never stop learning.

Along the way, I began exploring my solo work, diving into instrumental music, composition and the fusion of different styles. Those albums became my personal laboratory — a space to experiment freely and find my own voice as a guitarist and composer.

Then, in 2015, joining Megadeth opened an entirely new chapter. Working alongside the legendary Dave Mustaine pushed me to grow in many ways. From recording Dystopia — and winning a Grammy for Best Metal Performance — to co-writing much of The Sick, the Dying... and the Dead!, it was a period of intensity and evolution that continues to shape everything I play today.

Now, with Theory of Mind, all those paths come together — the energy of Angra, the precision of Megadeth and the freedom of my solo work — merging into one sound. This tour isn’t just about an album; it’s a celebration of the entire journey: the lessons, the people and the music that connect us all.

Each night on stage is different, shaped by the energy of the audience and the dialogue we create through sound. Whether you’ve been part of this story since the beginning or you’re discovering it now, I can’t wait to share this experience with you live.
